Benefits of Buying from a Dealership versus Buying off the Street

When someone buys a vehicle off the street, they’re buying it as-is. There is no warranty.
When someone buys a vehicle off the street, they’re buying it as-is. There is no warranty.
Whereas if they buy a vehicle from a reputable dealer in New York state such as 112 Auto Sales in Patchogue, they’re protected if the vehicle has less than 36,000 miles on it.
By law, dealerships must have
warranties that cover the vehicle.
New York state requires that if a vehicle has 36,000 miles or less, they are warrantied for 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If the vehicle has more than 36,000 but less than 80,000 it's covered for 60 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If a vehicle has 80,000 miles or more, but no more than a hundred thousand miles, it's covered for 30 days or a thousand miles.
112 Auto Sales goes above and beyond what is required in that anytime somebody buys a vehicle from us off our
inventory lot, no matter what--we offer a warranty, even if it's over a hundred thousand miles--we'll still give them 30 days.
